Talent Scouting Quota

aspirants who have represented the country in the Olympics, or in any relevant Category-B Championship, or secured at least 3rd position in the relevant Category-B Championship within the last 6 months from the date of the notification, will be considered against the 'Talent Scouting Quota' without trials, wherever necessary, with relaxation of educational qualification wherever applicable (subject to para 6.3 of RBE 189(B)/2010). Only 3 such aspirants , in order of overall merit along with not necessarily of any particular discipline, will be considered for recruitment. Discipline-specific Sports Achievement Rules

Aspirants are advised that, Archery: Only performance/achievements along with certificates issued by recognized National/International Sports bodies, recognized by the Railway Sports Promotion Board (RSPB), will be considered.

Badminton: Sportspersons may as well be considered on the basis of their current Annual All India Ranking, per the table below.
