✅ Eligibility

Candidates must fulfill all eligibility conditions as on the closing date of submission of online application (20-06-2026). Applications are open to eligible Indian Citizens and Overseas Citizens of India (OCIs). Minimum qualification at the Master's level is 55% marks (or equivalent grade in a point-scale). A relaxation of 5% is allowed at Bachelor's and Master's level for SC/ST/OBC (Non-creamy Layer)/PwBD candidates. A relaxation of 5% (from 55% to 50%) is also available to PhD holders who obtained their Master's Degree prior to 19 September 1991. Only Matriculation/SSC certificate or equivalent issued by the concerned educational board will be accepted as proof of date of birth. | Educational Qualification | Post Essential Qualification & Experience Assistant Professor As per UGC Notification 18th July 2018 (UGC Regulation No. F.1-2/2017(EC/PS)) and subsequent amendments. Minimum 55% marks at Master's level from a recognized University. NET/SET/SLET qualification or Ph.D. degree as per UGC norms. Associate Professor (Pay Level-13A) (i) Good academic record with Ph.D. in concerned/allied/relevant discipline. (ii) Master's Degree with at least 55% marks (or equivalent grade). (iii) Minimum 8 years of teaching and/or research experience at Assistant Professor level (or equivalent) in a University/College/Accredited Research Institution, with minimum 7 publications in peer-reviewed or UGC-listed journals and a total research score of 75 as per Appendix II, Table 2 of UGC Regulation No. F.1-2/2017(EC/PS), 18th July 2018. Professor (Pay Level-14) – Option A (i) Ph.D. degree in concerned/allied/relevant discipline with published work of high quality; minimum 10 research publications (Clause-12) and a total research score of 120 as per Appendix II, Table 2 of UGC Regulation No. F.1-2/2017(EC/PS), 18th July 2018. (ii) Minimum 10 years of teaching experience in university/college as Assistant Professor/Associate Professor/Professor or research experience at equivalent level with evidence of successfully guided doctoral candidate. Professor (Pay Level-14) – Option B An outstanding professional with Ph.D. in relevant/allied/applied disciplines from any academic institution or industry, who has made significant contribution to knowledge in the concerned discipline, supported by documentary evidence, with 10 years of experience. Desirable (all posts) Specialization as mentioned against each department in the vacancy table (desirable, not mandatory).
