Persons dismissed from service under Central/State Government or a local authority/corporation under their ownership/control are not eligible. | A male candidate with more than one living wife, or a female candidate with more than one living husband, is not eligible unless the Government is satisfied there is a special reason to grant exemption. | The candidate must be physically and mentally fit, free of any physical defect likely to interfere with efficient discharge of duties. A fitness certificate from the prescribed Medical Board is required before appointment to a gazetted post. Physical fitness for PWD candidates will be assessed as per their disability category certificate from an authorised medical practitioner.
