â Eligibility
Candidates must hold a Master's Degree or equivalent from a UGC-recognized university with at least 55% marks for General/Unreserved/EWS categories, and 50% marks for Reserved Categories (OBC-NCL, SC, ST, PwD, Third Gender). Candidates appearing for the final year of their Master's degree are provisionally eligible, provided they complete their degree with the required percentage within two years from the date of the NET result. Candidates with a 4-year bachelor's degree with a minimum of 75% marks (70% for reserved categories) are eligible for JRF and PhD admission only, not Assistant Professor.
