â Eligibility
For Assistant Teacher (Classes IX-X): Graduate or Post Graduate degree (at least 50% or equivalent) from a recognized university AND B.Ed. from an NCTE recognized institution, OR a 4-year B.A.Ed / B.Sc.Ed degree from any NCTE recognized institution. Candidates must have passed at least their graduation level examination with a minimum of 300 full marks in the relevant subject, or a postgraduate examination in that subject. For Assistant Teacher (Classes XI-XII): Post Graduate (at least 50% marks or equivalent) from a recognized university AND B.Ed. from an NCTE recognized institution, OR Post Graduate (at least 50% marks or equivalent) from a recognized university AND B.A.Ed / B.Sc.Ed from an NCTE recognized institution. Candidates must have passed the Post-Graduation level exam in the relevant subject for which they are applying. Reserved category candidates (SC/ST/OBC/PH) receive a 5% relaxation in minimum marks. All qualifications must be completed on or before the last date of application.
