SHSB Specialist Doctor Qualification (Post-wise) Post Minimum Qualification Obstetrician and Gynaecologist MD/MS/DNB in Obstetrics & Gynaecology, or DGO Paediatrician MD/DNB in Paediatrics, or Diploma in Child Health (DCH) Anaesthetist MD/DNB in Anaesthesia, or Diploma in Anaesthesia (DA) MD Medicine / Physician MD/DNB in General Medicine General Surgeon MS/DNB in General Surgery Orthopaedic Surgeon MBBS with MS-Ortho/DNB in Orthopaedic, MD in Orthopaedic, or D.Ortho For all posts, the qualifying degree/diploma must be from a recognized Institute/University, and candidates must be registered (or eligible for registration) with the Bihar Council of Medical Registration (BCMR), Patna , the Medical Council of India (MCI) , or the National Medical Commission (NMC) before joining. Candidates without existing BCMR registration may apply but must submit an affidavit undertaking to obtain registration before joining, failing which their candidature may be cancelled.
