All three posts require a B.Tech (or equivalent) in the relevant stream along with extensive government-sector construction experience. Post-wise Qualification and Experience Post Essential Qualification Essential Work Experience Consultant Site Engineer (Civil) Level 2 B.Tech or equivalent in Civil stream Min. 15 years in construction & project management of buildings, incl. 5 years in CPWD/CPSU/similar govt. org. not below Assistant Executive Engineer rank Consultant Site Engineer (Civil) Level 3 B.Tech or equivalent in Civil stream Min. 15 years in construction & project management, incl. 5 years in CPWD/CPSU/similar govt. org. not below Executive Engineer rank Consultant Site Engineer (Electrical) Level 3 B.Tech or equivalent in Electrical stream Min. 15 years in construction & project management (electrical works), incl. 5 years in CPWD/CPSU/similar govt. org. not below Executive Engineer rank A Master of Technology (M.Tech) in the relevant discipline is desirable but not mandatory for any of the three posts. Experience gained in State PWDs, State PSUs, or State government organizations is also counted as "Similar Government Organisations" experience. Age Limit for RBI Site Engineer 2026 The age limit for all three Site Engineer posts is a minimum of 40 years and a maximum of 65 years as on 01 June 2026.
