Eligibility for OFCH Apprentice Recruitment 2026 depends on which of the three apprentice categories a candidate is applying for, since each category requires a different academic background. As with the engineering streams, the final selection is decided by the percentage of marks obtained in the qualifying degree examination. Technician Apprentice (Diploma Holders) Eligibility Candidates must hold a Diploma in Mechanical, Electrical, or Civil Engineering awarded by a recognized State Board of Technical Education. Merit for this category is also determined by the marks secured in the final year diploma examination rather than through any competitive exam. Common Eligibility Conditions & Age Limit Across all three categories, candidates must not have had one year or more of job or training experience after completing their qualifying degree or diploma, and they must apply within 5 years of obtaining that degree or diploma.
