Experience from academic, research, fellowship, consultancy, apprenticeship, internship, JRF/SRF, PhD scholar, project-based or part-time roles is explicitly excluded. All essential educational qualifications must be from Universities/Institutions recognized by appropriate statutory authorities in India. | Post (Post Code) Essential Educational Qualification Minimum Post-Qualification Work Experience Experience Preference Deputy Chief Chemist (CHEM-01) PG Degree in Chemistry (min. 2 years) with min. 60% marks or equivalent CGPA; must have studied Physics, Chemistry and Mathematics at graduation level 09 years as Chemist (Drilling/Workover) or Drilling Fluid Specialist or in-line functional experience in Executive cadre Oil & Gas Sector experience preferred Deputy Chief Geologist (GEO-02) PG Degree in Geology/Applied Geology (min. 2 years) with min. 60% marks or equivalent CGPA; must have studied Mathematics at graduation level 09 years as Geologist or in-line functional experience in Executive cadre Upstream Oil & Gas Sector experience preferred Deputy Chief Engineer (Reservoir) (RES-03) B.E./B.Tech in Petroleum Engineering (min. 4 years) with min. 65% marks OR Master's Degree in Petroleum Engineering/Technology (min. 2 years) with min. 60% marks along with B.E./B.Tech in any Engineering discipline (min. 4 years) 09 years as Reservoir Engineer or in-line functional experience in Executive cadre Upstream Oil & Gas Sector experience preferred Deputy Chief Geophysicist (GEOP-04) PG Degree in Geophysics/Applied Geophysics/Exploration Geophysics (min. 2 years) with min. 60% marks or equivalent CGPA (PG in Computational Seismology etc. excluded) 09 years as Geophysicist or in-line functional experience in Executive cadre Oil & Gas Sector experience preferred Deputy Chief Engineer (S&E) (S&E-05) B.E./B.Tech in Fire & Safety Engineering/Fire Engineering (min. 4 years) with min. 65% marks OR Master's Degree/Diploma in Industrial Safety or HSE (min. 2 years) with min. 60% marks along with B.E./B.Tech in any Engineering discipline (min. 4 years) 09 years in handling Health, Safety and Environment (HSE) matters as an Officer or in-line functional experience in Executive cadre Oil & Gas Sector experience preferred Economist (ECO-06) – Grade D PG Degree in Economics or Business Economics with min. 60% marks or equivalent CGPA 09 years as Economist or in-line functional experience in Executive cadre (exposure in macroeconomic analysis, policy research, econometric modelling, project evaluation, data analysis) Energy/E&P/PSU sector experience preferred Economist (ECO-06) – Grade E Same as above 13 years (same functional criteria) Economist (ECO-06) – Grade F Same as above 17 years (same functional criteria) | Additional condition for candidates in regular Government/PSU employment: Must have minimum 2 years' experience in the next lower pay scale or equivalent (as per Table-III in the notification - IDA/CDA/PSB pay equivalence chart). Candidates from private sector companies must belong to organizations with a minimum annual turnover of Rs. 500 Crores.
