M.E./M.Tech degree holders need a minimum aggregate of 60% (average of all semesters) or a CGPA/CPI of 6.5 on a 10-point scale or equivalent grade, from a recognized university. | B.E./B.Tech/M.Sc degree holders need a minimum aggregate of 65% (average of all semesters) or a CGPA/CPI of 6.84 on a 10-point scale or equivalent grade, from a recognized university. | Rounding-off of marks or CGPA grading is not allowed . | All degrees must be duly recognized by AICTE/UGC or another organization authorized by the Government of India. | CSIR-UGC National Eligibility Test (NET), including NET-Lectureship (Assistant Professorship) | Graduate Aptitude Test in Engineering (GATE), conducted by MHRD/Ministry of Education | Joint Admission Test for Masters (JAM), conducted by MHRD/Ministry of Education | Joint Entrance Screening Test (JEST) and Joint Graduate Entrance Examination for Biology & Interdisciplinary Life Sciences (JGEEBILS), conducted by the Department of Atomic Energy | All India Competitive Examination (AICE), conducted by the Indian Council of Agricultural Research
