This recruitment is restricted to a specific eligible group: only candidates who qualify as "Migrants" under SRO 412 of 2009, or as "Kashmiri Pandits" under SRO 425 of 2017, are eligible to apply. Migrant status is certified by the Relief and Rehabilitation Commissioner, J&K, while Kashmiri Pandit status is certified by the Deputy Commissioner of the concerned district. In addition, candidates must be domiciles of the UT of Jammu & Kashmir and possess a valid Domicile Certificate issued by the Competent Authority, valid on or before the cut-off date of 08.09.2026. No. Post Qualification Prescribed 1 Draftsman (Civil) Two years Draftsman Training Course Certificate/Diploma from any Government recognised Institute 2 Sub-Inspector Graduation from any recognised university 3 Junior Statistical Assistant Bachelor's Degree with Economics/Statistics/Mathematics/Commerce/Computer Applications/Information Technology as one of the elective subjects 4 Motor Vehicle Traffic Assistant (MVTA) Minimum qualification 10th with ITI Motor Mechanic Vehicle two-year course from a recognised institute; and a driving license for Motor Cycle with Gear and Light Motor Vehicles 5 Junior Librarian Bachelor's degree in Library Science from a recognised university 6 Library Assistant Graduate degree from any recognised university with a degree/diploma in Library Science 7 Depot Assistant Matriculation or its equivalent from a recognised University or Board of Examination Candidates must produce original certificates as proof of the prescribed qualification at the time of Document Verification, acquired strictly on or before the cut-off date. Candidates claiming an equivalent qualification must produce an Equivalence Certificate from the competent authority when required by the Board.
