Candidates must have passed the qualifying examination and possess Original/Provisional Certificate to be eligible. The gap between the date of contract after joining apprenticeship and the date of passing the qualification should not be more than 5 years for all categories. Candidates who have already undergone Apprenticeship Training or who are undergoing similar apprenticeship training or are registered for Apprenticeship Training in the respective qualification under the Apprentices Act 1961 elsewhere are not eligible. Candidates who have already joined/are pursuing/are about to join any regular courses for higher education during the stipulated Training Period need not apply. OBC candidates must produce a valid Non-Creamy Layer certificate. | Category-wise Eligibility | Category Eligibility Details Technician (Diploma) Apprentices Must have passed Diploma in Engineering/Technology from State Board of Technical Education in the respective branch. Gap between date of contract after joining apprenticeship and date of passing qualification should not be more than 5 years. Graduate Apprentices in General Stream Must have successfully completed Degree from a recognized university in the respective discipline. Gap between date of contract after joining apprenticeship and date of passing qualification should not be more than 5 years. Engineering Graduate Apprentices Must have successfully completed Degree in Engineering/Technology from a recognized university in the respective branch. Gap between date of contract after joining apprenticeship and date of passing qualification should not be more than 5 years. | Reservation | Reservations for engagement of Apprentices shall be applicable for EWS, OBC, SC, ST, PH Candidates, Ex-Servicemen as per the Apprentices Act 1961 & Rules and subsequent amendments and for wards of HAL as per HAL Corporate Office Guidelines. OBC candidates must produce a valid Non-Creamy Layer certificate.
