Clinical specialties (broad specialties): Upper age limit - 45 years | Pre-clinical / Para-clinical subjects (Anatomy, Biochemistry, Physiology, Pharmacology, Microbiology, Pathology, Forensic Medicine, Community Medicine): Upper age limit - 50 years | MD / MS / DNB (Postgraduate degree in Doctor of Medicine, Master of Surgery, or Diplomate of National Board), or | M.Sc. with Ph.D. in medical subjects - Anatomy, Biochemistry, Physiology, Pharmacology, or Microbiology | Emergency Medicine: Candidates holding MD/MS/DNB in General Medicine, Anaesthesia, Respiratory Medicine, General Surgery, or Orthopaedics can appear - in addition to their own specialty. | Physical Medicine & Rehabilitation: Candidates with MD (General Medicine) + Diploma in PMR, or MS/DNB in General Surgery or Orthopaedics are also eligible.
