CSL Ship Draftsman Trainee Qualification CSL Ship Draftsman Trainee Educational Qualification Discipline Educational Qualification Ship Draftsman Trainee (Mechanical) Pass in SSLC, plus a 3-year Diploma in Mechanical Engineering from a State Board of Technical Education with a minimum of 60% marks, with an aptitude for draftsmanship and proficiency in CAD. Ship Draftsman Trainee (Electrical) Pass in SSLC, plus a 3-year Diploma in Electrical Engineering from a State Board of Technical Education with a minimum of 60% marks, with an aptitude for draftsmanship and proficiency in CAD. The diploma must be from a University, Institute or Examination Board recognised by AICTE, or an appropriate statutory, State or Central authority. Candidates with equivalent qualifications must submit an Equivalency Certificate; without it, their application will not be considered. Candidates without the prescribed diploma qualification but holding higher qualifications such as B.Tech or M.Sc. are not eligible and will not be considered, even if they otherwise appear qualified. CSL Ship Draftsman Trainee Age Limit The upper age limit is 25 years as on 04 September 2026, meaning applicants should be born on or after 05 September 2001.
