Master's Degree in Sciences or Mathematics with at least 55% marks (or equivalent grade in a point-scale) | Master's Degree in Education with at least 55% marks (or equivalent grade) | Doctor of Philosophy in Education | Minimum 8 years of teaching and/or research experience at an academic/research position equivalent to Assistant Professor level, with a minimum of 7 publications in peer-reviewed or UGC-listed journals and a total research score of 75 as per Appendix II, Table 2 of UGC Regulations, 2018 | (i) Post-Graduate degree in the concerned subject with at least 55% marks (or equivalent grade in a point-scale) - subject-specific requirements are listed below | (ii) Bachelor of Education (B.Ed) Degree with at least 55% marks (or equivalent grade) | (iii) National Eligibility Test or Doctor of Philosophy in Education or in the concerned subject, as prescribed by UGC for these categories of posts | (i) Post-Graduate degree in Education (M.Ed) with at least 55% marks (or equivalent grade) | (ii) National Eligibility Test or Doctor of Philosophy in Education, or any other qualification prescribed by UGC for these categories of posts | The time taken to acquire M.Phil. and/or Ph.D. degrees will not be counted as teaching/research experience. | Active service spent simultaneously pursuing a Research Degree while on teaching assignment without taking leave shall be counted as teaching experience. | Offer letters, Appointment Orders, Joining Reports, and Relieving Orders will not be accepted as Experience Certificates.
