The Karnataka Examinations Authority (KEA) has declared two separate notifications, dated 10 July 2026, inviting online applications for 572 Village Accountant posts under the Revenue Department. The 572 positions are distributed across two separate cadres based on region. test-takers are allowed to register for only one district within their applicable cadre; multi-district applications will not be accepted.

Persons employed as Grama Samuha Parishilakaru under the rural self-employment scheme - relaxation equal to years of service.

According to the latest notice, Special Chetana (persons with disabilities) aspirants - 10 years relaxation.

The department has confirmed that, Persons employed by the Government of India census organization in Karnataka - relaxation equal to years of service or 5 years, whichever is less.

Widows who have not remarried, or women legally divorced as well as not remarried - 10 years relaxation, subject to proof.

Retrenched employees who repaid retrenchment compensation in line with the Karnataka Retrenched Employees Act/1957 rules - 10 years relaxation, subject to proof.

Transgender/third-gender applicants - 1% horizontal reservation with corresponding age relaxation according to the Transgender Persons (Protection of Rights) Act, 2019.

KEA VAO Salary 2026
