According to the authorized advertisement, 31 posts of Assistant are to be filled across KVKs under OUAT. The category-wise reservation breakup given in the notification is reproduced below.
Note: The advertisement as well carries a separate "Total" reservation row showing ST-07, UR-16, SC-05, SEBC-03, Total-31, PWD-01. Educational Qualification
Essential qualification: Bachelor's Degree from a recognized university.
According to the latest notice, aspirants must specifically indicate the percentage of marks obtained (calculated to the nearest two decimals) in the relevant column of the online form.

OUAT Assistant Salary 2026 (Pay Scale)
The Assistant post carries the following pay scale as stated in the notification:
Level-9, Rs. 35,400 - 1,12,400/- (as per 7th Pay Commission)
Or, PB-2, Pay Rs. 9,300 - 34,800/- plus Grade Pay Rs. 4,200/- (pre-revised Pay Band as well as Grade Pay under 6th CPC)

Skill Test

How to Apply for OUAT Assistant Recruitment 2026
The department has confirmed that, obtain the prescribed registration form (Annexure-II) as well as information sheet from the authorized OUAT website: www.ouat.ac.in .

Important Instructions and Terms & Conditions

The official notification states that, KVK employees are Contractual Project Staff for as long as 100% funding from ICAR continues.

Neither the State Government nor OUAT will bear any liability pertaining to KVK employment.
Transfer of KVK employees will be within the KVKs only.

The university reserves the right to cancel the recruitment process due to unforeseen circumstances or to not fill some or all of the advertised posts, without assigning any reason.
Furnishing false information or suppression of factual information will lead to disqualification/termination, even if detected later during service.
