Why This Result Covers Only 87% of Posts
In line with the Government of Madhya Pradesh's letter as well as the Commission's corrigendum dated 27 March 2025, the advertised Dental Specialist posts were divided into two parts: 87% Main Part along with 13% Provisional Part. The result for the 13% provisional part will be issued only after a final judicial decision on pending litigation related to Other Backward Class (OBC) reservation. This result covers only the 87% Main Part.

How Merit Was Determined
As stated in the Commission's criteria, merit was decided in the following order:
Marks obtained in the interview (out of 100) determined the primary merit order.
Where two or more test-takers obtained equal interview marks, priority was given based on the departmental weightage marks fixed for shortlisting (according to the Directorate of Health Services letters dated 29 July 2022 in addition to 16 July 2024).
If the weightage marks were additionally equal, the older candidate (by age) was given priority.
Important Instructions
Under Madhya Pradesh General Administration Department guidelines, only reserved-category test-takers who meet unreserved-category merit without any relaxation are chosen against Unreserved (open) posts.
Where a sufficient number of meeting criteria women applicants was not available for women-reserved posts, those posts were filled with male aspirants of the same category based on merit, according to the General Administration Department's 1997 guidelines.
The official notification states that, If any computer or clerical error is found in the result after publication, the Commission reserves the right to correct it.
The selection result of test-takers involved in pending court cases has been withheld pending the final decision of the concerned court.
The declared result remains subject to the final outcome of the following pending matters: SLP No. 8764/2023, SLP No. 12398/2023 (Supreme Court of India), in addition to Writ Petition No. 5901/2019 along with Writ Petition No. 5596/2024 (Madhya Pradesh High Court), along with other connected petitions.
