ICAR IARI Recruitment 2026 - Eligibility Criteria
Senior Research Fellow: Master's degree in Vegetable Science/Genetics/Plant Breeding/Genetics as well as Plant Breeding/Biotechnology with 4/5 years bachelor's degree. Those with a 3-year bachelor's degree must have UGC/CSIR/ICAR NET qualification or equivalent or a Ph.D. in any of the above disciplines as prescribed under ICAR guidelines. Desirable: Experience in Vegetable Breeding, molecular breeding, biotechnology, along with proficiency in computer application.
Young Professional-II: Postgraduate degree in Vegetable Science/Horticulture/Genetics & Plant Breeding/Seed Science & Technology/Biotechnology or allied disciplines of Life Sciences. Desirable: Experience on phenotyping of germplasm, screening techniques for biotic stress tolerance, molecular breeding, knowledge in computer applications, data collection & handling, in addition to statistical analysis.
