HURL Selection Process
Executive Cadre: Depending on the number of applications, HURL may conduct interviews, screening tests, written tests, trade tests or skill tests as deemed fit, in addition to may revise requirements criteria or restrict the number of test-takers called for a post based on academic marks, years of experience, or additional qualifications.
FTC Basis (Medical): Selection follows the same discretionary process as Executive Cadre posts, based on qualification as well as post-qualification experience in a medical institute/industrial establishment.
The department has confirmed that, Non-Executive Cadre: Selection is through Trade/Skill/Pen- in addition to-paper exam or any other suitable mode determined by HURL.

According to the latest notice, All qualifications must be from an Indian university/institute recognised by UGC/AICTE or the appropriate statutory authority; qualifications through distance learning mode are not meeting criteria .
Qualifying degree/diploma must be full-time in addition to regular.
Work experience must be relevant executive/in-line experience acquired after the qualifying degree; teaching/lectureship, part-time jobs, apprenticeship, internship, articleship in addition to freelance work will not be counted. For E2 in addition to above, only executive experience is considered.
