As per the official update, The 425 TGT Arts posts were distributed across multiple categories in line with the requisition received from the Director, Elementary Education, Himachal Pradesh. The advertisement was issued under No. 01/2025, dated 27 May 2025.

Selection Process - How Was the Final Result Compiled?

Aspirants are advised that, In response to Advertisement No. 01/2025, a total of 44,155 applications were received in addition to all were provisionally admitted.

Of these, 38,220 test-takers appeared for the CBST along with 5,935 remained absent.

The department has confirmed that, Based on merit in the CBST, 664 applicants were shortlisted for the document verification process, which was conducted from 16 April 2026 to 22 April 2026 along with again on 1 June 2026.

The official notification states that, After document verification, the Aayog compiled the final result for 425 posts, declaring 414 applicants as picked.

Important Notes on the Result

Before treating the selection as final, aspirants should be aware of the following conditions mentioned in the departmental press note.

The result is declared subject to the final outcome of CWP No. 14030/2026 along with CWP No. 4836/2024, which are currently sub-judice before the courts.

2 posts in the Gen (UR) category remain vacant pending these court decisions.

9 posts across OBC (WFF) along with SC (WFF) categories could not be filled due to non-availability of applicants .

The Aayog has explicitly reserved the right to rectify any inadvertent or technical error in the result at a later stage.
