CVRDE Paid Internship Eligibility Criteria

Regular students pursuing an Engineering Degree in B.E/B.Tech (7th/8th semester) or M.E/M.Tech (1st/2nd year) full-time course in the relevant discipline from a recognised Indian University/Institute.

Only regular students from AICTE-approved technical institutions or UGC-approved universities are meeting criteria to submit .

Aspirants are advised that, test-takers should have a minimum 8.5 CGPA (on a 10-point scale) or 85% marks, maintained continuously in all previous semesters.

Students with backlogs are not meeting criteria .

The scheme is open only to students holding Indian nationality.

As per the official update, Students already receiving a stipend or similar benefit from any other institute are not meeting criteria for this internship programme.

CVRDE Paid Internship Qualification

Applicants must be regular full-time students of a recognised Indian University or Institute, currently pursuing B.E/B.Tech in the 7th or 8th semester (UG category) or M.E/M.Tech in the 1st or 2nd year (PG category), in one of the four disciplines listed above: Mechanical, Electronics/Electronics & Communication/Electronics & Instrumentation, Electrical, or Computer Science/AI/ML/IT. No equivalent qualification or related branch will be considered.

CVRDE Paid Internship Salary / Stipend

Shortlisted interns will receive a monthly stipend of Rs. A wet canteen facility is available at CVRDE for lunch along with tea on a payment basis. 5,000/- for the six-month duration. No boarding, lodging, or transport allowance is provided; students must make their own arrangements. The stipend is paid in two slabs of three months each, with Rs. 15,000/- credited directly to the student's bank account per slab.

Selection is entirely on a merit basis, considering the candidate's academic track record (≥85% marks or ≥8.5 CGPA in every previous semester).

Shortlisted students will be intimated through their registered e-mail ID along with joining instructions.
