Among families of urban local body outsourced pourakarmikas, if a family member has died - based on continuous years of service in outsourcing/contract - a family member may be considered for compassionate appointment ( along with for other qualifying reasons as well).

Workers with experience in urban local body-related public toilets in addition to solid waste management units - having worked continuously for a minimum of one year as loaders, UDI helpers, cleaners, or in waste segregation units - will be considered, based on proof documents such as ESI/EPF salary payment, bank passbook, or attendance records.
